Overview
Evangelism is the heart of all we do. Our Lord Jesus Christ charges all believers in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15,16) to preach the gospel to all humans. Our task involves disciplining converts to be zealous and ready to multiply the work of evangelizing. We believe in the power of the Gospel to transform lives, and our mission is to reach the lost, serve with compassion, and boldly proclaim God’s love. Through outreach events, community service, one-on-one witnessing, and global missions, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that desperately needs hope.
The Evangelistic Section has a clear chain of command to ensure all activities are aligned with
its mission which is enshrined in scriptures. Join us as we live out the Great Commission—making disciples and spreading the Good News to every corner of our city and the world. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19
Some of the functions include:
- Directing all evangelistic work, including preaching and
teaching. This also includes submitting reports to the appropriate Quarters
quarterly or periodically. - Equipping pastors and evangelistic workers with seminars,
scripture study, and prayer training. - Preparing study materials for adults, youth, and children and making sure that evangelistic activities are being carried out
effectively across all zones, branches, and HCF centres. - Overseeing the Adult, Youth Church and Sunday School worldwide,
also ensuring that centres are open for studies on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays
and for prayers on Wednesdays. - Sharing updates and instructions when necessary as well as monitoring membership growth and spiritual health while establishing new branches and HCF centres worldwide .
