POST EVENT – Summary
The International Women’s Conference (IWC) 2026 was held from April 2nd to April 7th at the WISPM Convention Center in Lusada, Ogun State. The event opened on April 2nd with a seamless registration process, during which participants received their welcome kits. It was an international event for women, both young and old aged 14 years and above. Brothers volunteered to serve the sisters during the event. The brothers who volunteered were exceptional, providing unwavering support throughout the conference. The cooking committee, comprised of dedicated brothers, warmly welcomed the sisters with a delightful array of meals.
On Friday, April 3rd, sisters began the day with the Lord, with a 30-minutes session of prayer and devotion from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., setting a spiritual tone and preparing the minds, bodies, and spirits of the sisters for the days ahead. After a brief period of recess, the conference officially commenced at 9:00 a.m. with an opening prayer followed by a welcome address from the chairperson of the Women Affairs and a message from our spiritual leaders. Thereafter, the sisters had a series of lectures, marriage counselling sessions, and other enriching engagements.
Each day of the conference followed a well-structured routine, beginning with morning devotion, followed by lectures, medical talks, health screenings, and complimentary medical services. However, Sunday, April 5th, stood out as a special day as it coincided with the Easter celebration. The day featured a special luncheon, Youth Day activities, drama presentations, and a fundraising initiative aimed at supporting the maintenance of the Summit Hall. Sisters were encouraged to make voluntary contributions, including items such as pillows, bedspreads, fans, air conditioning units, refrigerators, and other household essentials.
The medical workshop was another highlight of the conference, offering valuable education on breast and cervical cancer, alongside free screenings and treatments. The choir also played a significant role, delivering inspiring and uplifting musical renditions that enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the event.
On Monday, April 6th, the conference officially came to a close, marked by a well-organized photo session coordinated by the media team, where sisters were grouped according to their respective zones. By the early hours of April 7th, participants from across the globe—including the United Kingdom, the United States, Zambia, South Africa, Nigeria, and other regions—began their journeys home.
The conference concluded on a highly impactful note, with participants leaving spiritually uplifted, empowered, and inspired to make meaningful contributions in their homes, communities, and the wider society. The sisters eagerly look forward to the next edition of the International Women’s Conference, with renewed anticipation for greater growth, unity, and spiritual enrichment.
