Overview

The Five Man Committee (also known as Key Service) is a group of five church workers appointed to oversee the church. They are like the church’s caretakers. The name “Five Man” originates from the Biblical meaning of the number 5, which represents God’s grace (His kindness to us) and being prepared to serve God and humanity.

This group/structure is replicated  instituted in every zone but are coordinated by a nation body as well.

  • Keeping everything organized and running smoothly, and maintaining proper communication with various church sections
  • Keeping accurate records of important information about church members and church properties 
  • Taking care of church buildings and ensuring they are clean and safe for worship
  • Organizing special church events, such as anniversaries
  • Managing financial responsibilities, such as local dues collection and building funds
  • Ensuring timely reporting to the church headquarters
  • Collaborates with other sections to deliver on its mandate 
  • National Level: The National Five-Man Committee/Key Service that provides overall coordination and leadership
  • Zonal Level: Zonal Five-Man Committees coordinate activities within their specific zones/regions
  • Branch Level: Local committees that handle individual church locations
