The call to “Let Go Now” is not a call to loss, but to trust. Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly asks His people to release what they are holding so tightly – fear, control, regret, offense, or even good things that have taken the place of God. Letting go is often the doorway to obedience, freedom, and renewal.
We see this in Abraham releasing Isaac, Israel releasing Egypt, the disciples leaving their nets, and Paul letting go of his former identity. In each case, what was released felt necessary, familiar, or even promised, yet God proved Himself faithful beyond what was surrendered.
The sermon reminds us that what we refuse to release can quietly become what restrains us. Holding on may feel like security, but it often breeds anxiety, bitterness, and spiritual stagnation. Letting go requires faith, but it aligns us with God’s timing and purposes.
“Let Go Now” is urgent because delayed obedience is still disobedience. God’s grace invites us to release the weight today, not after conditions improve. When we let go, we make room for God to move, heal, restore, and lead us forward.
The message concludes with a challenge: identify what God is asking you to release, trust Him with the outcome, and let go, not later, not gradually, but NOW!!!.
